Interview with the Owner
Hi, my name is Steven Gloyer, and I am the owner of Fresh Coat Painters of Dublin and Westerville. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Finance and have worked in corporate finance for fifteen years prior to joining the Fresh Coat family.
How Long Have You Been in Operation?
I started my business in 2012.
What Have You Accomplished Thus Far?
With the exception of last year, we have grown every year we have been in business.

Where Did You Come From?
I was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin and lived in the suburbs of Chicago until I was 16 when I moved with my family to Phoenix, Arizona where I lived most of my life, with the exception of the six years where I lived in Washington state. After my divorce, my ex-wife moved our kids to Ohio and two years later, I moved to Ohio in order to be with my kids.
What Is Your Story?
Growing up I was very active in sports, primarily football. I went to two different high schools because my family moved from Illinois to Arizona at the end of my Sophomore year in high school. In addition to playing sports, I worked while in high school so that I could buy a car. My first car was a 1976 Fiat Spider convertible.
I worked full time while in college I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Global Business Management with a specialization in Finance. During the summer prior to graduating from ASU, I studied for the Series 7 & Series 63 exams in order to become a stock broker. After passing both exams, I worked as a stock broker for a brief period of time until I decided that wasn’t for me.
Leading Up to Fresh Coat
Upon graduating from ASU I worked in accounting and finance for about 15-years. Shortly before my divorce I was pursuing my MBA which was cut short due to my divorce. Two years after my divorce I changed careers, moved to Ohio to be with my kids and started my business.

It’s important to me that we always leave a positive impression, by providing superior customer service, provide outstanding quality and attention to detail, always look and act professional, and do what we say we are going to do.
