Fresh Coat Franchise Owner Russell Johnson Paints at the White House
(Nov. 11) -- Brushstroke by brushstroke, veteran Russell Johnson served his country. The retired Marine just finished painting the black wrought-iron gate surrounding the 18-acre White House property, a job taking three weeks and approximately 75 gallons of primer and paint.
Johnson's work experience includes two tours of duty in Iraq, stints that involved much leadership, if no paint.
"When I came home from overseas, I started looking at franchise opportunities," Johnson told AOL News. The 41-year-old father of three retired to his home state, North Carolina, where he discovered Fresh Coat, a painting franchise.
