Ralph E. Martin has been the President and a Member of the Board of Directors of Fresh Coat since the organization began. In that time, Fresh Coat as grown on average by 50 percent each year, and this year is on pace to have the largest growth rate thus far, currently at 63%. With Martin at the helm, revenues increased by 120 percent in 2007, and in 2008 alone, more than 100 new franchise owners and employees have completed training.

Prior to joining Fresh Coat, Martin owned REM Painting, a small painting services company. Also, he spent 16 years as a Vice President for Delta Connection, a subsidiary of Delta Airlines, and is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served as a Search and Rescue Flight Engineer.

Martin has an MBA from Xavier University. He has lived in Greater Cincinnati since 1986 and has two sons and two daughters.

With a business career that has stretched over 25 years, including 24 years in franchise and entrepreneurial environments, Jeff Bevis, Chief Operating Office of Fresh Coat, has a unique and aggressive perspective for what it takes to build successful franchise systems. He has led major growth initiatives in several franchise companies such as Comfort Keepers, Express Personnel Services, Thrifty Rent-A-Car and INTERIORS by Decorating Den. Jeff’s executive leadership responsibilities have encompassed all aspects of franchising, including Operations, Training, Support Services, Business Development and Strategic Planning. He is a firm believer in developing teams and helping entire organizations understand what it takes to execute for success.

Jeff has also been an entrepreneur operating his own franchise consulting practice offering key services to enhance franchise sales performance, achieving greater franchisee satisfaction; implement more effective field support deliverables and strategic planning for international franchise growth. An active volunteer in the franchising community, Jeff has served on steering committees for the International Franchise Association, authored strategic articles for franchise publications, and continues to serve as a featured presenter of franchise topics at seminars and trade gatherings. In 2001 Jeff received his Certified Franchise Executive designation from the International Franchise Association in recognition of his completion of a rigorous certification program sponsored by the Association’s Educational Foundation.

Married with two grown children, Jeff and his wife Maribeth reside north of the Cincinnati area outside of Wilmington, Ohio.

Terry McGee, Executive Franchise Consultant for Fresh Coat, has been with the company since 2008. McGee has more than 13 years of experience in franchise development, operations and sales. Before joining our team, he was involved with franchise development for several franchise systems including Safeguard Business Systems, Play it Again Sports, E.nopi, Coverall and Quiznos. McGee holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University.

Melodie Reed is the Director of Operations for Fresh Coat and has been with the company since 2007. Prior to joining Fresh Coat, she served as the General Manager and Director of Marketing for an independently owned franchise of a National foodservice company. Melodie managed this operation and also developed and implemented new purchasing and marketing programs, resulting in a 250% increase in sales. Previously, she was the Director of Vending Operations of a $42 million foodservice company where she was responsible for managing overall operations, including profitability, account retention and sales improvement.

Keith Tilley, Chief Financial Officer of Fresh Coat, has been with the company since 2006. Previously, he was the Controller of a private country club in West Chester, Ohio. He has also served as Vice President of Finance for Buckeye/White River Valley Pizza Hut, LLC, which operated 21 Pizza Hut® franchised restaurants in Ohio and Indiana. He also held several executive management positions with Miami Valley PH, Inc., and River Valley Management, Inc. Tilley is an affiliated member with the Ohio Society of CPA’s.

Jeffrey Siehl, General Counsel for Fresh Coat, has been with the company since 2007. Prior to joining us, he practiced law in the litigation department of Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLP, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a JD from The Ohio State University.
